Winter Maintenance Where Winters are Cold
* Adjust pool pH to between 7.2 and 7.8 to prevent scaling, staining, and algae growth.
*Shock the pool according to the product directions.
*Run the filter for 24 to 48 hours depending on how much dirt is in the water. Remove any floating debris and thoroughly vacuum the pool.
*Add an algaecide that will prevent the formation of algae before the water freezes.
*Follow the manufacturer's directions and lower the water level.
*Turn off power to any equipment and then turn off the circuit breakers off or remove the fuses.
* Cover the pool securely using a high quality cover that resists weather and water and keeps out debris and leaves. Fill the water bags halfway.
